Chat

Step 1 – Open the chat settings

• Click on gear icon at the bottom of the menu on the left.

• Select Personal settings.

• Expand the list Chat.

Step 2 – Set how you want to view your chats

Message orientation

• Choose how messages are displayed in the chat (desktop and mobile):
  • My messages on the right and other messages on the left.

Compact chat channels

• Set the distance between chat channels in the menu.

• Toggle on Compact chat channels to reduce the distance.

Emojis and reactions

On computer

1. Click on gear icon → Personal settings → Chat → Emojis and reactions.

2. Change favorite emojis for quick reactions:
   • Click on an emoji you want to change and choose a new one.

3. Change skin tone:
   • Click on the desired skin tone to update.

On mobile

1. Press gear icon → Personal settings → Chat → Emojis and reactions.

2. Change favorite emojis:
   • Tap an emoji you want to change and choose a new one.

3. Change skin tone:
   • Tap the desired skin tone to update.

Delete messages / Deleted messages

• When a message is deleted, the text is displayed: "This message has been deleted".

• To hide this completely:
  • Toggle on Hide all traces of deleted messages in chat channels – the text is not displayed.

  • Toggle off if you want the text to be visible.
