Port numbers to or from Subs
To be able to port, i.e. move, numbers in the app you need to be account owner or have the authority Account.
A porting means that you move a number from one operator to another. It can be a single number or an entire number range.
Remember: A porting can take place no earlier than five days after we have received the signed porting form.
Port mobile numbers to Subs
When you want to move a mobile number from another operator to Subs:
- Submit a signed agreement to subs@Subs.io.
- Check that the number has no remaining binding time and that it is registered with the company.
- Start one purchase of new subscription in the app.
- When you come to the election Select number, select the option Port existing number and fill in the information.
Port out mobile numbers from Subs
When you want to move a number from Subs to another operator:
- The new operator sends a porting request to Subs.
- The request must be made against the same corporate registration number and company name under which the subscription is registered.
- The subscription is then handled according to the selected final handling:
- Completed with final invoice.
- Assigned a new number.
- Or lie numberless for now.
Port a number series to Subs (superadmin)
To transfer your landline number, you need to be logged in as superadmin in the app.
- Go to Organization settings, then Telephone system, and select Landline number.
- Make sure the numbers have no remaining validity period.
- Submit a signed porting authorization to subs@Subs.io.
- Click on Port number in the app.
- Enter the number or number series to be ported.
- Example: for the series 0811223340 to 0811223350, enter 08112233[40-50].
- Fill in contract information, porting date, and which company owns the numbers.
- Click on Move.
The status is displayed in the app and the number series is listed below. Unassigned landline numbers.
Port in mobile number as superadmin
To move mobile number as superadmin:
- Go to Organization settings, then Telephone system, and select Mobile number.
- Make sure the numbers have no remaining validity period.
- Submit a signed porting authorization to subs@Subs.io.
- Click on Port number.
- Enter the mobile number to be ported.
- Fill in the contract information and date for porting.
- You can assign the number to a user directly, but it is optional.
- Click on Move.
The status is displayed in the app. The number will be listed under Unassigned or Assigned mobile numbers when the porting is complete.
Frequently asked questions
When will I receive my new SIM card?
It is sent by regular mail and normally arrives within a few days.
When will my old SIM card stop working?
It stops working the same day the porting goes through.
