Who has access to guests?
- All users with the permission Guests can view and edit guest settings.
Open up to guests
- Click on gear icon and select your organization.
- Expand the list Guest accounts.
What is a guest user?
A guest is a person you can invite to your communication environment completely free of charge.
A guest user can:
- Be a member of several chat channels.
- Live chat with the members in the channels they have access to.
- Chat in channels and direct chats (if you have enabled that permission).
- Share files.
- Download the app to computer, mobile and iPad.
- Call VoIP calls in the app.
Create a guest user
Guest users are free and you can create an unlimited number.
- Click on the plus sign.
- Select a contact or enter one email address.
- Choose them channels the guest should have access to.
- Click on Create.
Generate an invitation link
Use an invitation link to invite multiple guests at once.
- Expand the list Create invitation link.
- Choose them channels the guest should join in.
- Click on Create.
- Copy the link and send it on, e.g. via email.
Deactivate a guest invitation link
- Click on trash can icon to deactivate the link.
- Note: This will not remove users who have already joined via the link.
Permissions – Guest rights
All guests receive the same standard rights when they join.
To edit:
- Expand the list.
- Select Rights.
- Click on Save.
